Hi! My name is Jethro (if you’re an NCIS fan, you’ll get it!).
I am an orange tabby. While I may look like just an ordinary, unremarkable cat, my personality is exceptional!!! I am an incredibly friendly, loving, snuggly kitten. What makes my personality even more amazing is the fact that I spent all my time alone in my former home. They didn’t have time for me so I was left alone in a small room. Luckily, I was mercifully rescued and brought into the Humane Society. Aside from my whiskers still growing back and having wobbly back legs (either from an injury or from muscle atrophy due to my lack of movement while living in a very small space), you would never know I had such a rough time. I love, love, love attention! I was in a foster home with 1 large & 1 small senior dogs, 1 cat & 1 kitten, as well as 2 young children. I get along well with everyone and everything! In my future furr-ever home, I need lots of time playing with other furry friends or with people since I have a spunky kitten personality. I also need some very loving people to give me lots of attention! I do not have an aloof, independent personality. I adore being the center of everyone’s affection! If you have a home with young children, please watch them around me as I’m just too darn sweet for my own good and wouldn’t look out for myself if the kids get too rough. I do best walking on carpet but am still able to walk on smooth floors. Please be patient with me and hopefully my back legs will become stronger and my walking will continue to improve with time. Come visit me at the Humane Society and see if you’d like me to be your new snuggle buddy!
Shelter hours for visitation are Tuesday 5:30pm-7:30pm & Saturday 10am-2pm. Closed Holidays.
