Thank you for your interest in the

Hancock County Humane Society!

We are a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter staffed entirely by volunteers and funded
entirely on donations from the local community. It is our goal to find permanent safe
and loving homes for the pets in our care.

Our shelter will be CLOSED during October for renovations.
However… beginning October 4th, you can still meet and adopt our kitties at the Smitten Kitten Cat Café!
Click here for information about making a reservation and adoptions at this very special place.
Click here for special Community Pet Food Pantry hours during October.
(Our building and lot will continue to be monitored with security cameras during this time.)
