Thank you for your interest in the

Hancock County Humane Society!

We are a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter staffed entirely by volunteers and funded
entirely on donations from the local community. It is our goal to find permanent safe
and loving homes for the pets in our care.

We are open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for those interested in adopting.
Please CLICK HERE for information on making an appointment.
Our pet food pantry for those in need is open on Saturdays from 10am-2pm,
and donations may be dropped off then as well.
We ask general visitors to please postpone their visit to another time.
We thank you for your understanding.

YOUR pet could be a winner in our June/July "Pets on Parade"
photo contest... more details here!

Hi! I'm Novella. I'm a brown tabby female. I am playful and a bit sassy. I have slightly crossed eyes. I am good with other cats, but can be a bit bossy. I am okay with children, but can play rough so more about Novella
